Zig Zag Mag to celebrate new release on Sept. 24

MIDDLEBURY — Zig Zag Lit Mag, Addison County’s arts and literature magazine, will release the third issue of their semiannual publication at Stonecutter Spirits on Exchange St. in Middlebury on Sept. 24 at 2pm. This reading and release party is free and open to the public of all ages.
Following the same format as previous release parties, attendees will have the chance to meet the editors, the writers and the artists featured in the magazine. A selection of writers featured in the issue will read some of their work, and Stonecutter Spirits will sell drinks, including a cocktail conceived especially for this event.
Issue three features the work of 25 writers and artists from across Addison County. From block printing, photography and fine art, to poetry, short stories, and personal essays, issue three, shows the breadth and depth of Addison County’s artistic community. The issue will be available at the event for $5. Copies will be available for purchase after the event at the Bixby Memorial Library in Vergennes, the Lincoln Library in Lincoln, and the Vermont Book Shop in Middlebury.
The magazine will also be available in digital form for free through the magazine’s website zigzaglitmag.org.
