Studio School gets Arts Impact grant
MIDDLEBURY — The Middlebury Studio School recently received the Arts Impact Grant from the Vermont Arts Council. This grant will be used along with the Walter Cerf Grant to collaborate with local social service organizations to provide low-cost pottery and art classes to four non-profit community organizations: Counseling Service of Addison County, Community Associates, Parent-Child Center of Addison County, and Mary Johnson Children’s Center.
Middlebury Studio School promotes the creative process and community through art and craft education for people of all ages and abilities. It is committed to having a place where children, teens and adults can engage in creative endeavors, learn new skills and interact in an upbeat, safe social setting. School officials, on behalf of the students, instructors, board and friends, thanked the Vermont Arts Council and the Walter Cerf Community Fund of the Vermont Community Foundation for these gifts.
