County residents receive achievement awards for work at radio stations
SOUTH BURLINGTON — Hall Communications Radio Group, which includes 20 radio stations in five states, recently announced winners of their annual achievement awards. Two Addison County residents and employees of the Vermont radio stations received awards.
Kate Dubenetsky of Bristol is an account executive for WIZN-WBTZ-WJOY. She won the “Best Commercial Spec Contest” for the entire Hall Communications Radio Group with an advertisement for “Good Stuff.”
In addition, Northeast Group Manager and Senior Vice President Dan Dubonnet of Starksboro was promoted to executive vice president for Hall Communications Radio Group. Dubonnet was also awarded the Hall Communications Presidents Award by owner Arthur Rowbotham for the second time during his 31-year career with Hall.
