Michelle Fay Band to play Brandon Summer Concert Series
The Michele Fay Band will perform on the lawn behind the Brandon Inn this Wednesday, Aug. 2, at 7 p.m., as part of the Brandon Summer Concert Series. Bring a picnic and listen to this compelling and captivating ensemble featuring original and Americana music from Vermont.
Their repertoire provides a mix of understated originals and well-placed traditional covers, played and sung with relaxed polish, personality and taste. Kalev Freeman, on fiddle, brings forth a light-hearted, lilting sound. Michael Santosusso, on upright bass, adds dynamic beat and perfectly matched harmonies. Fay’s husband, Tim Price, contributes accomplished, melodic instrumentals on mandolin and guitar. And Fay lends her vocal talents.
Arrive by 6 p.m. and hear the Brandon Town Band play a set before the Michele Fay Band gets going.
The concert is free. Beer and wine will be available for purchase (this is not a BYOB event). For more information, call (802) 388-6863.
