Sharks put the bite on local swim team

MIDDLEBURY — Swimmers and their families enjoyed another pleasant evening at the Middlebury Municipal Pool on Thursday, when the visiting St. Albans Sharks emerged with a 246-199 victory over the host Middlebury Swim Team in a Champlain Valley Swim League meet.
MST has one more regular season meet, a Tuesday make-up night at Burlington Country Club, before this Friday and Saturday’s CVSL league meet at St. Albans. The state meet follows the next weekend in White River Junction.
In Thursday’s meet Molly Thalen, Ellie Ross and Oliver Poduschnick won three races for MST, and Lucy Poduschnick prevailed twice.
