Weybridge town picnic set for July 8
WEYBRIDGE — The town of Weybridge will hold its annual town picnic on Saturday, July 8, from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at the Weybridge School.
This popular event will have something for townspeople of all ages. Snake Mountain Bluegrass will provide music, and there will be children’s games and the ever-popular competitions for best baked beans and best pie. Judges will consider two categories of pie this year: best fruit pie and best overall pie. The three first place winners will receive a $10 gift certificate to the Middlebury Natural Foods Co-op.
The town will provides meats, drinks, and desserts for the picnic. Residents are encouraged to bring a salad or hot dish to share. There is no need to bring a separate dish if you submit an entry into the contest.
