Brownell tapped to lead home health agency

MIDDLEBURY — Tim Brownell, R.N., has been tapped as the new Chief Executive Officer and Chief Nursing Office at Addison County Home Health and Hospice (ACHHH). He joined ACHHH on May 8.
Brownell brings more than 25 years of Home Health and Hospice experience in various management roles. Most recently he served as the divisional director of Hospice for Community Health Systems, and prior to that as the vice president of business operations for a large multi-state pediatric and adult home health care company based in New Jersey.
“I look forward to working with Tim as we look to our 50th year of providing home care to Addison County residents,” says Elissa Cobb, board of directors president. “His clinical expertise, leadership skills and enthusiasm for patient care make him a great addition to our team.”
Brownell is a nursing graduate of Broome College in New York. He, his wife, Kathi, and their three daughters — Rachel, Kyra and Halle — are all avid Penn State fans.
ACHHH has provided comprehensive home health care and hospice services in Addison County since 1968. The nonprofit agency, based in New Haven on Route 7 near the Middlebury town line, employs more than 140 full- and part-time employees and serves people of all ages within Addison County.
