Vergennes Boys and Girls Club to be open for meals this summer

VERGENNES — The Boys and Girls Club of Greater Vergennes will be an Open Meal site for breakfast and lunch this summer. The club is participating in the Summer Food Service Program. Meals will be provided to all children without charge and are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability. There will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service. Meals will be provided, at a first come, first serve basis, at the following sites and times:
Boys and Girls Club of Greater Vergennes, 55 School Street, Vergennes:
•  Breakfast: Monday-Friday 9-9:30 a.m.
•  Lunch: Monday-Friday noon–12:30 p.m.
Meals will be served Monday through Friday from June 19th through August 18th except for Monday July 3rd and Tuesday July 4th, when the club will be closed.
Children younger than fourth grade need to be accompanied by an adult. Youth fourth grade and up are encouraged to stay at the club and participate in our summer activities.
