College foursome wins Buster Brush golf event
MIDDLEBURY — The foursome of Russ Reilly, Neil Mackey, Brad Williams and Bill Beaney won the annual Buster Brush Memorial Golf Tournament on May 12 at Ralph Myhre Golf Course. They played representing Middlebury College.
The first-place mixed team was Jim Reynolds, Nicole Laberge, Chuck Rose and Steve White, who took to the course representing NFP Insurance.
In regular Bill Davidson Thursday Men’s Golf on May 18 the threesome of Joe Bartlett, Joe Thilbourg and Nick Causton, prevailed, with the trios of John Davis, Doug Biklen and Don Dayton, and Tom Maxwell, Mike Adams and Reilly taking second and third, respectively.
Bartlett posted the low net score of the day, and Thilbourg won the closest-to-the-pin competition.
In Friday Evening Mixer play on May 19, Georgia Best, Jim Hadeka, Deb Hadeka and Jim Craig were the first-place foursome, and the first-place threesome were Torrie Blake, Nicole Laberge and Bill Laberge.
