K.I.C.K.S. to sponsor women’s biz expo June 4

MIDDLEBURY — Master Kellie Thomas, owner and head instructor of K.I.C.K.S., is always looking for ways to help empower women through her TaeKwon Do classes and special self-defense workshops. Recently, Thomas decided to look into promoting and supporting other local women business owners.
Vermont is always so proud of their small businesses and local grown products, but she hadn’t seen much geared specifically towards the many women who run businesses and felt it was something worth spotlighting.
The result: Thomas organized a local women business owner expo on Sunday June 4, at the Middlebury Town Gym from 1:30-4:30 p.m. Hosted by TaeKwon Do K.I.C.K.S., the event is free and open to the public. Thirty-five vendors will display and sell their products and services, which include sweets, clothing, landscaping, photography, toys, art therapy, and more.
A raffle for items from vendors and other donations will take place as part of the event. Tickets can be purchased before and at the event. You do not have to be present to win. Proceeds from the expo are being split between WomenSafe and TaeKwon Do K.I.C.K.S. women self-defense scholarship fund.
To purchase tickets, or for more information about the event please contact Master Kellie Thomas at [email protected].
