Town of Middlebury surveying residents on civic economic health
MIDDLEBURY — The Middlebury Economic Health Task Force is urging local residents to take an online survey to provide guidance on ways to promote more business growth in town.
The task force, chaired by Selectwoman Heather Seeley, has been charged with studying the Middlebury economy and recommending some strategies to recruit new enterprises, and help those that are already here. The task force’s work follows the five-year term of the Middlebury Business Development Fund, a more ambitious economic development effort led by its Office of Business Development & Innovation.
The online survey — which takes around five minutes to complete — can be found at bit.ly/EHTFSurvey. Participants are invited to include their email address to become eligible for a raffle that will net the winner $50 in Middlebury Money.
Answers are anonymous and emails will not be kept with survey answers, according to organizers.
Participants are urged to complete the survey by Friday, May 12.
