Tigers blank Otters in girls’ tennis

BRANDON — The Middlebury Union High School girls’ tennis team blanked host Otter Valley on Monday, 7-0, winning every set in six contested matches.
In individual matches:
•  At No. 1 singles, Claire Wulfman defeated Sophie Wood, 6-1, 6-1.
•  At No. 2 singles, Charlotte Keathley defeated Brigid Enright, 6-2, 6-0.
•  At No. 3 singles, Sierra Barnicle defeated Molly Fisher, 6-3, 6-3.
•  At No. 4 singles, Calista Carl defeated Ghislaine Robin, 6-1, 6-0.
•  At No. 5 singles, Nora Draper won by forfeit.
•  At No. 1 doubles, Amelia Ingersoll and Monroe Cromis defeated Brenna McCullough and Brittney Danforth, 6-3, 6-2.
•  At No. 2 doubles, Tasha Hescock and Megi Hoxha defeated Ella Chaney and Madeline Fuller, 6-3, 6-4.
