Middlebury construction company announces management changes
MIDDLEBURY, — Bread Loaf Corporation recently announced the arrival of Karen Oakman, who has joined their MEP department as a MEP Manager. Oakman holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Union College, and brings with her more than 25 years of experience, including owning her own engineering firm from 1991-2013.
The company also announced that current employee Dakota Stender has been promoted to Project Manager. Stender began working at Bread Loaf Corporation as a Project Engineer in May of 2015. Most recently he has completed projects for the Newberry Market at Briggs Opera House in White River Junction; the University of Vermont Alumni House Restoration & New Pavilion; and Preston’s Bar & Restaurant at the Killington Grand Resort Hotel.
Currently, he is working on several more projects at the Killington Grand Resort Hotel, including lobby and locker room renovations. Stender also recently passed his LEED Green Associate Exam.
