Addison Historical Society meeting to be held March 26

ADDISON — The quarterly meeting of the Addison Town Historical Society will be held Sunday, March 26, at 4 p.m. at the Addison Fire Station located at 44 Route 17, just west of Addison Four Corners.
Cliff “Bucky” Douglas will talk about early post offices in Addison, how we went from four to none. Bucky will also share some of his collection of 19th and 20th century postal covers and perhaps some other observations. If you have related artifacts or memories, please bring them to share.
Dues for 2017 are now due. They are $5 a person and may be paid at the meeting or sent to Vaughn Watson, Treasurer, 1682 Route 17 East, Addison VT 05491. If you are a non-member attending the meeting, we ask for a donation.
Light refreshments will be served.
