ORWELL — Orwell Village School grades six through eight received the 2017 Champlain Valley National Heritage Partnership Corridor of Commerce Grant. Through grant funding, students will explore the historical commercial heritage of the town of Orwell through an integrative program of history, interpretive dance and the creation of a streaming multimedia timeline. The project will be implemented mid-February through March and will culminate in a public performance open to the community (date TBD).
