As we transition to a new administration on Jan. 20, I felt compelled to write and thank President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden for their service to our country over the last eight years. These two men are extraordinary human beings. Their commitment to all of the people of the United States has been clearly demonstrated throughout their years of public service.
I cannot stress enough that I feel they both have put the needs of every American citizen before their own each and every day while in office. Something that I feel may not occur in the next four years.
I wish them both the very best in the future and will be watching as they take on their new roles as citizens and know that their good work will continue.
