Salisbury News for Jan. 5, 2017

SALISBURY — The temporary bridge across Otter Creek on the Salisbury-Cornwall Swamp Road has opened for traffic. It is quite narrow; people should use caution.
Petitions for town offices are available in the town office. You must collect nine signatures of registered voters; Town Clerk Sue Scott says to collect a couple extra as all signatures may not be registered voters or legible.
The committee planning events for the Salisbury town meeting to be held Saturday, March 4, are looking for suggestions. If you have ideas, contact Katherine Schloff at 352-4246.
