Neat Repeats awards $27,679 in grants

MIDDLEBURY — Diane Howlett and Linda Waterman, directors of Neat Repeats Consignment Shop in Middlebury, have announced the Neat Repeats grant awards for the fall 2016 cycle. A total of $26,679 was awarded in Addison County, as follows:
A total of $6,100 to six area food shelves; $5,079 in family assistance to sixteen recipients; $3,750 to Addison County Housing Solutions; $3,000 to Elderly Services pledge; $2,700 in scholarships to MAUHS, MUHS and VUHS; $2,500 in educational opportunities to seven recipients; $1,000 to the Epilepsy Foundation; $500 to the Orwell Fire Department; $500 to the Town of Middlebury Dog Park; $450 to Hospice Volunteer Services; $400 to CSAC; $300 in miscellaneous to two recipients; $250 to the Addison County Parent/Child Center; and $150 to the Bristol Fire Department.
