Middlebury Police Log: Police investigate slashed tire incidents

MIDDLEBURY — Middlebury police investigated two separate reports of tires being slashed on vehicles parked off Seminary Street Extension on Dec. 1. Both vehicles belonged to people who were hiking in Means Woods. One of the vehicles had two tires slashed, while the other had all four tires put out of commission, according to police.
That same day, police were informed that someone had slashed a tire on a vehicle parked on Middlebury College’s Old Chapel Road. It was unknown if these incidents were related.
Anyone with information on these cases is asked to call Middlebury police at 388-3191.
