Lake Division, MVL honor girls’ soccer players

ADDISON COUNTY — Twenty-one members of the Mount Abraham, Middlebury, Vergennes and Otter Valley union high school girls’ soccer teams have received postseason honors from the Lake Division or the Marble Valley League C Division.
Topping the list was Eagle senior Ernesta McIntosh, who was named the Lake Division Defensive Player of the Year a season after being tabbed as the league’s offensive player of the year. Her Eagle teammate Lydia Pitts, also a defender, joined her this season as a Lake Division First-Team All-Star.
Four Tigers earned First-Team Lake Division honors: midfielder/forwards Helen Anderson and Andi Boe and defenders Darcy Staats and Kess Moulton.
Two Commodores joined them on the Lake Division First Team: defender Megan Rooney and midfielder/forward Emily Rooney.
Three Otters earned MVL C Division All-Star recognition: striker Olivia Drew, midfielder Abbie Pinkowski and defender Jillian Flanders.
Four Commodores earned Second Team Lake Division honors: defender Emma Husk, defender/midfielder Hannah Paquette, midfielder Caroline Johnston and forward Ciara McClay
Three Eagles earned Second Team Lake Division honors: midfielder Casey Ober, forward Abby Mansfield and goalie Genysis Berube.
Three Tigers earned Second Team Lake Division honors: midfielders Ada Anderson and Isabel Rosenberg, and midfielder/defender Lauren Turner.
