Speaker to tell about ‘healing touch’ at senior meal on Tuesday

MIDDLEBURY — Seniors are invited to come to the new Middlebury Recreation Center on Creek Road next week for the monthly Third Tuesday Lunch, sponsored by Age Well (formerly CVAA).
The program and meal are scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 15. Beginning at 11 a.m. Betsy Spannbauer will introduce participants to their energetic bodies. Certified in “Healing Touch,” an energetic approach to wellness, Spannbauer will talk about how she was introduced to energy work and share some of her experiences along the way.
A special noontime meal will follow featuring roasted pit ham, mac and cheese, Italian beans, dinner roll and pumpkin whoopee pies for desert. Certified organic regular and decaffeinated coffee will be available at this Middlebury mealsite thanks to the donation of Vermont Coffee Company.
The suggested donation for the meal is $5; advance reservations are required. Call Age Well at 1-(802) 865-0360 ext. 1070 to reserve a spot.
