Letter to the editor: Scheu is best qualified to serve Middlebury in House

Robin Scheu is the best-qualified candidate for the Vermont House based on her work style, experience and commitment to service.
She is a strategic thinker that has demonstrated an approach of listening carefully and working together with diverse groups to find the best solutions. It is this collaborative approach that will allow her to be a highly effective legislator. She understands that problems are never as simple as the sound bites we hear in the news and that real solutions require a thoughtful deliberative approach where many opinions and ideas are heard.
Robin has a breadth of experience across a wide range of issues. From economic development to education to the environment and education, she has demonstrated her broad perspective. These are the very issues that require the attention of the Vermont legislature if we are to build more sustainable and prosperous opportunities for all Vermonters.
Importantly, Robin has a very strong commitment to serving the boarder community. She has been a volunteer board member and held numerous leadership roles at both the local and state level. We are lucky to have someone like Robin running to serve as one of our representatives to the Vermont House. I urge everyone to mark your ballots to make sure Robin Scheu will represent us.
