It is with enthusiasm that I endorse Jill Charbonneau for the Vermont House in Addison 1. I have known Jill for many years, and have always appreciated her steadfast commitment to the most important issues that we face. She has been a consistent advocate for single payer health care for many years, and she supports the current efforts to begin with universal publicly-funded primary care for all Vermonters.
She supports a livable minimum wage of $15 per hour, and a more concerted effort to more quickly reduce our reliance on fossil fuels in favor of an environmentally sustainable infrastructure and future for Vermont. She has been consistent on these and many other issues for many years, and has rightfully earned the endorsement of Bernie Sanders.
Jill has always been up-front with her positions on the issues. She does not waffle or offer the voters platitudes in lieu of clear and substantive positions and proposals on the issues.
