Middlebury Methodist church has busy October planned
MIDDLEBURY — The second half of October will be an exciting and busy time at the United Methodist Church of Middlebury, located at the corner of Route 7 and Seminary Street.
On Sunday, Oct. 16, the popular chicken and biscuit dinner will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. In addition to the main entree, many homemade side dishes will be available as well as delicious desserts. The cost is $8. Please note this is in place of the usual last Sunday supper.
The popular and helpful Bake and Rummage Sale will be held Friday, Oct. 21 and Saturday, Oct. 22. The Bake Sale hours are from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, and the rummage sale is from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. On Saturday, Oct. 22, the rummage sale is from 9 a.m. to noon. Entrance to both the bake sale and rummage sale is on Seminary Street.
By popular demand, the United Methodist Women will again host Trick or Trunk on Halloween, Monday, Oct. 31 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the church parking lot on Seminary Street. Decorated cars and trunks will be filled with goodies! Cider and donuts will be available in the Fellowship Hall of the church.
The church will have a winter coat sale during November, date to be announced.
