Bristol to host town Halloween party Oct. 28

BRISTOL — Waitsfield Champlain Valley Telecom is teaming up with the Bristol Recreation Department to host a Children’s Halloween Party on Friday, Oct. 28, from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. at Holley Hall.
Everyone is encouraged to wear costumes!
There will be music, activities and refreshments, including pizza and healthy snacks. The event is free and open to children of all ages.
The fun at Holley Hall will lead up to a costume parade down Main Street beginning at 6:30 p.m. Kids (accompanied by chaperones, please) will walk down the sidewalk on one side of downtown and back to the town park on the other.
The younger kids will want to go home after the parade, but older kids are invited to stay on the park for a screening of the movie “Beetlejuice” beginning at 7 p.m. This event is, of course, free as well, an open to everyone. Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult.
If it’s too windy, wet or cold, the film will be screened in Holley Hall.
For more information, please contact Lorraine Keener at 496-3391 or [email protected], or contact the Bristol Rec. Department at 453-5885 or [email protected]
