Salisbury residents reminded that taxes are due Oct. 5
SALISBURY — Salisbury property owners are reminded that taxes are due next Wednesday, Oct. 5. In addition to regular office hours, the town treasurer will be available on Saturday, Oct. 1, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and on Wednesday, Oct. 5, from 1 to 5 p.m. for people to make payments. You may pay the first installment or the entire bill.
The Friends of the Salisbury Community School will hold an Ice Cream Social and Lawn Party on Sunday, Oct. 2, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the school. There will also be games and a baked goods raffle.
The winner of the Summer Reading Program is Sienna Rubright who won a bicycle and helmet. Runners up were Julia Morrissey, Jonathan Carpenter and Bella Gale. They won backpacks filled with school supplies.
The Everybody Wins! Reading Mentoring program will be held on Mondays and Tuesdays at the school this year. The first day will be Monday, Oct. 3.
The first early dismissal day of this school year will be Tuesday, Oct. 4. The students will leave school at 1 p.m.
