As a proud rail supporter and founder of Friends of Rutland Rail, the group formed to save the Western Corridor’s Ethan Allen Amtrak service, I ask that you support Sue Minter for governor. Sue worked diligently, with vision as Transportation Secretary toward completion of funding the Western Rail Corridor, which will connect our Amtrak Ethan Allen train from Rutland to Middlebury to Burlington.
This will now happen by 2020 in large part due to the efforts of Sue Minter, who believes that strong rail infrastructure where there is no interstate will be a positive step for commerce on the western side of Vermont. And this will connect our cities bringing even more visitors to spend money in each community.
Please vote for Sue Minter as Vermont’s next governor on Nov. 8.
