Milton blanks Commodore boys’ soccer

MILTON — Host Milton snapped a scoreless tie with three second half goals and defeated the Vergennes Union High School boys’ soccer team on Thursday night, 3-0.
Jack Battistoni, Carson Bianchi and Luca Schnell scored for the 4-2 Yellowjackets, and goalie Alex Dooley made three savies.
VUHS goalie Cameron McLaughlin stopped 14 shots for the Commodores, who dropped to 3-3 and saw a three-game winning streak snapped.
The Commodores next host Rice on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m.
