MIDDLEBURY — Course member George Ramsayer sank a hole-in-one to provide last week’s highlight at Ralph Myhre Golf Course in Middlebury.
Ramsayer accomplished his feat on Hole No. 14 on Friday, Sept. 16.
In regular Thursday afternoon Bill Davidson Men’s Golf action, the trio of Nick Causton, Neil Mackey and Steve Maier prevailed, and Mackey was the day’s low net winner.
Finishing second was the team of Russ Reilly, Frank Punderson and Dick Hodgson. The threesome of Joe Bartlett, Charlie Grigg and Paul Butt took third.
The next day in Friday Night Mixer play, the foursome of Mary Ann Broughton, Jim Craig, Bob Cameron and Wes Smith took top honors.
Taking second was the quartet of Jean Gross, Nancy Reynolds, Bill Laberge and Jackson Richards. The foursome of Sheila Cameron, Jim Reynolds, Bernie Andrews and Steve Gross was fourth.
