Neat Repeats makes $19,000 in donations
ADDISON COUNTY — The volunteers at the Neat Repeats consignment shop on Bakery Lane in Middlebury have awarded $19,066 in the summer 2016 grant cycle, as follows:
Payments of $3,755 for family assistance to nine recipients, $3,750 to HOPE for housing solutions, $2,700 in scholarships to MAUHS, MUHS and VUHS, $2,000 in dental assistance for four recipients, $1,500 to Vermont Symphony Orchestra for school programs, $1,500 to Bridport Grange renovations, $750 to Open Door Clinic for dental support.
Also, $511 for other projects and programs to four recipients, $500 to the Starksboro Cooperative Preschool for radon mitigation, $500 to the MiddSummer Lunch and Recreation program, $400 to the ACSU Spring into the Arts Festival, $350 for MAUHS folding seating, $300 to the MESA Read-a-Thon, $300 to Friends of Middlebury Hockey and $250 to the Salisbury Community School – Everybody Wins!
Directors Linda Waterman and Diane Howlett encourage the community to continue supporting Neat Repeats by shopping, donating or volunteering, and they remind shoppers that the store is air conditioned.
