VERGENNES — The Vergennes Police Department has cited Kelly A. McEvoy, 46, of Vergennes for possession of what is estimated 10 bags of heroin.
In a press release, city police said McEvoy had the heroin in her possession during a roadside stop by a Vergennes police officer.
McEvoy is due to answer the charge in Addison Superior Court, criminal division, on Oct. 17.
