Opinion: Peace Garden thankful for support

To Whom It May Concern, This letter is a hearty appreciation to Neat Repeats, a volunteer organization in our community. You may have had the pleasure of sitting in Bristol’s Peace Garden. If you have, you may have noticed the new benches on the front of each continent wedge. This summer we needed to complete the final bench and we needed funds. It was Neat Repeats that helped us complete this project. As a committee, we are very thankful for this contribution to the Peace Garden. Bristol’s Peace Garden has given many thousands of people pleasure in the 25 years it has been on the green in Bristol.
Neat Repeats is an organization that supports community projects such as ours. If you have donated to Neat Repeats, your donation helped us realize the completion of what we committed to for this year. So thank you to Neat Repeats and the volunteers that make it possible to generate the funds they disburse. Thanks to the community members who donate clothing, shoes, jewelry, linens and small kitchen items that Neat Repeats then sells.
Phoebe Barash on behalf of Bristol’s Peace Garden Committee
