Conservation district to meet, discuss resource ideas

MIDDLEBURY — The Otter Creek Natural Resources Conservation District (OCNRCD) is holding a Local Work Group meeting on Monday, Sept. 26, at the Farm Service Center Meeting Room at 68 Catamount Park, Suite B in Middlebury. The meeting will coincide with the Farm Tour from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss natural resource issues and concerns within Addison County.
The information gathered will help us set priorities for projects and funding throughout the District. Any and all are encouraged to attend. This is an opportunity for you to share your thoughts on what you consider the most important natural resource issues. You can help us be more effective in our work, the programs we offer, the technical assistance we provide and how funding is distributed to agricultural producers.
If you wish to send your concerns, have any questions or need further information, please feel free to contact Pamela Stefanek, district manager, at 802-388-6746 x126 or [email protected]
