We are thrilled to endorse Dave Sharpe of Bristol for Vermont State Representative. Stan, who is a veteran of World War Two, applied for veterans plates when they were first offered and received a low number, which he was very proud of. He had to stop driving due to illness, and wanted to pass his plate on to our daughter, who is a 30-year veteran herself. We were told that is not permissible. We wrote a letter to the DMV commissioner asking permission, and called Dave for help. Dave got back to us in a day telling us our request was granted. He is truly a representative who works for the people of our state.
