I’m writing you today in support of Kesha Ram for lieutenant governor. We live in complicated times. Our leaders must be true to their ideals and have the courage to stand behind them, but we also need leaders with the courage to compromise. We need leaders who understand that the best way to lead is to escape the trap of Democrat vs. Republican, Capitalism vs. Socialism, Liberal vs. Conservative.
As a chef and small business owner I spend a great deal of my time bridging personalities and taking what’s best from those whom I work with to do what is best for my family, my restaurant, and my community. Kesha Ram brings this same philosophy to the statehouse and her commitment to her open mindedness is why I know she is the right person for the job.
What we need are leaders who are willing to examine all sides of an argument. Who are willing to learn and take the best ideas from both sides and use them to create one fantastic idea. Kesha Ram is that leader. She has spent her entire career building consensus in the capitol, working with Democrats and Republicans alike to achieve true progress for all Vermonters.
I’m casting my vote for Kesha Ram for lieutenant governor this Aug. 9, and I hope you’ll join me.
