Opinion: Shedding light on downtown vigil
August 3, 2016
I went to a vigil in downtown Middlebury on Thursday, July 21, for Black Lives Matter.
Of course what came up was: All Lives Matter. This is true and I feel deeply that all lives matter. But, it seems obvious that all lives don’t always matter in our country, for if they did I would not have had to go to the vigil: Black Lives Matter.
So I went to the vigil; a vigil to remind us that Black Lives Matter also.
