44 golfers take swings at Dud Phinney golf tourney
MIDDLEBURY — More than 40 golfers took part in the Dud Phinney Member-Guest tournament at the Ralph Myhre Golf Course in Middlebury this past weekend.
Among the highlights of the competition, the Low Qualifier with a 72 was the duo of Joe Bartlett and Dave Anderson.
In addition, the duo of Michael Bordeleau and Peter Clark won the Horse Race competition and two golfers sank holes in one in Closest to the Pin contests: Dick Lafave on No. 7 on Saturday and Marsdin Van Order on No. 4 on Sunday.
The flight winners were as follows:
Flight 1: 1st–Joe Bartlett, Dave Anderson; 2nd–Kirk Goodman, Brett Everest.
Flight 2: 1st–Kris Kelton, Jim McGuire; 2nd–Steve Maier, Dave Maier.
Flight 3: 1st–Patrick White, Ross Lengyel; 2nd–Kelly Kelton, Jeff Sherman.
Flight 4: 1st–Steve Myhre, Larry Provencher; 2nd–Neil Mackey, Bart Frisbie.
Flight 5: 1st–Doug Biklen, Alex Knopp; 2nd–Kevin Newton, Dylan Newton.
Flight 6: 1st–Bob Cameron, Gabe Cameron; 2nd–Jeff McDonough, Mark McDonough.
Flight 7: 1st–Kurt Pope, Peter Clark; 2nd–Tim Robinson, John Rouse.
Flight 8: 1st–George Ramsayer, Jeff Ramsayer; 2nd–Mike Adams, John Illick.
Flight 9: 1st–Skip Doane, Dick LaFave; 2nd–Raymond Gale, John Quelch.
Flight 10: 1st–Rick James, Chris Curtis; 2nd–Dave Wemette, Mike O’Donnell.
Flight 11: 1st–Stan Pratt, Alan Pratt; 2nd–Marsdin Van Order, Frank Tranor.
In the Horse Race, first place went to Bordeleau and Clark; second place was Kelton and Streeter; and third place was Bartlett and Cameron.
