Kimberly named as senior loan officer at VEDA

MONTPELIER — The Vermont Economic Development Authority (VEDA) has promoted Jamison Kimberly to senior loan officer of the Montpelier organization’s agricultural lending program, the Vermont Agricultural Credit Corporation (VACC).
Kimberly, a Middlebury resident, has been a VACC loan officer since 2012, after having worked for several years as a program technician for the Farm Service Agency in Middlebury. He graduated from the University of Vermont in 2009 with a degree in Business Administration concentrating in Finance and Marketing. Kimberly gained prior experience by working for his family’s beef cattle, logging and nursery businesses in Middlebury.
In March 2015, Kimberly was named one of Vermont’s Rising Stars by Vermont Business Magazine, an annual award celebrating Vermont’s most accomplished young leaders for their commitment to business growth, professional excellence and involvement in their communities.
Kimberly currently serves as treasurer for the Middlebury Community House Inc.
VEDA’s mission is to contribute to the creation and retention of quality jobs in Vermont by providing loans and other financial support to eligible and qualified Vermont businesses.
