Opinion: Scheu a good fit for Legislature
We are supporting Robin Scheu for state representative from Middlebury. She has extensive experience, both locally and statewide, on issues that are very important to us — environment, education, community and the economy. She also has a proven record of working with people from diverse backgrounds to get things done.
Robin is currently the Executive Director of the Addison County Economic Development Corporation and has served as chair of the boards of the Addison County United Way, Mary Hogan Elementary School, Vermont Land Trust and Smart Growth Vermont. She has also served our community through work or participation with the Middlebury Area Land Trust, Middlebury Natural Foods Co-Op, Addison County Solid Waste District and the Middlebury Conservation Committee. This is the kind of background that makes for an excellent State Representative.
Robin understands the issues and will be ready to jump in to reflect Middlebury’s interests and help the state move forward.
