A HANDFUL OF youngsters learned the fundamentals of tennis during the Hot Shots Tennis Camp, which was held at the Middlebury Recreation Park last week. Instructors focused on basic ground strokes and volleys, shot placement, and learning to serve and return. Taking her best shots on Wednesday morning were was Catherine Carpenter, 11, of Salisbury.
