BRISTOL — Vermont State Police cited a Bristol man with domestic assault after he allegedly struck a woman, identified as his girlfriend, at a residence off Meehan Road in Bristol on July 5.
James Powell, 69, is scheduled to answer to the charge in Addison County Superior Court on July 11, according to state police. Additional charges against Powell are pending, police said.
