Opinion: Letter made good point about town office trees

I hope the letter from Anna Rose Benson, the Ilsley Library’s gardener, re what to plant around the new municipal building will be seen by the right people. She clearly knows what she is talking about with reference to what seem to be the wrong trees planned for this and attention should be paid to her opinion.
The library garden is absolutely lovely — it’s always the first place a few spring flowers show up at the end of winter — and she should be listened to.
