Tours or local solar arrays to be offered this Saturday

ADDISON COUNTY — Solar arrays at Champlain Orchards and at Middlebury College are part of Renewable Energy Vermont’s second annual Celebrate Solar Day this Saturday, June 18.
Solar sites around the state will be hosting public tours, giving folks a chance to tour a variety of facilities and ask questions about solar power.
Champlain Orchards at 3597 Route 74 in Shoreham will host public tours from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Middlebury College solar array will host public tours from 10 a.m. to noon at its solar array along Route 125, just east of college’s organic garden (the array is on your right as you drive out of Middlebury).
For more information about the Celebrate Solar public tours, go to www.revermont.org/celebrate-solar.
