VERGENNES — The Vergennes City Band is gearing up for another year of summer concerts in Vergennes City Park, and member invite their fellow community members to dust off their instruments and join them in playing a variety of music including marches, Broadway medleys, and other popular songs. All ages and abilities are encouraged and welcome.
Rehearsals take place in the Vergennes Union High School Band Room on Mondays, June 6, 13 and 20, from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Concerts are on Monday evenings at 7 p.m. in the park, starting June 27. This concert is concurrent with the Champlain Valley Christian School’s annual Strawberry Festival, also in the park.
