MIDDLEBURY — Middlebury Highway Department personnel will be painting traffic markings on Wednesday night, May 25, and Thursday night, May 26, from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m.
The following road closures will be in effect during this period:
Wednesday night:
• Main Street will be closed between North Pleasant Street (Route 7) and the roundabout.
• Merchants Row will be closed; Battell Building residents will need to use Merchants Row to Court Square.
• South Pleasant Street will be closed between Court Square and Cross Street.
Thursday night:
• Court Street will be closed northbound at Cross Street.
• Court Square will be closed at South Pleasant Street.
• The southbound lane of North Pleasant Street will be closed at Main Street. Traffic will need to use Main Street to Cross Street to get to Court Street. 
• Main Street at Emma Willard triangle will be closed to Court Square.
• The westbound lane of Washington Street will be closed at Buttolph Drive.
