SOUTH BURLINGTON — Division I Rice defeated the D-III Vergennes Union High School boys’ lacrosse team on Tuesday, 17-7.
The Commodores, fourth place in D-III, dropped to 4-3 heading into a Wednesday home game vs. league rival Otter Valley; they will host D-II U-32 on Friday. Rice moved to 7-2.
Tyler Crowningshield and Tyler Kepes each scored three times for VUHS, and goalie Broc Clark made 10 saves.
