Kelly Boe bike ride called off

MIDDLEBURY — The second annual “Kelly Boe Memorial Bike Ride” slated for Monday, May 2, has been called off because of rainy weather.
The event, organized by Middlebury Safe Routes, raises money for a scholarship fund in honor of Boe, a Middlebury resident who was killed after being struck by a car while cycling in Weybridge on April 14, 2015.
The ride was due start at 4 p.m. at Middlebury Union High School and will follow the same route through Weybridge as last year.
Kathy Boe said it was hoped that the ride would be rescheduled.
