Two more candidates seek House seat in Bristol-area district
Two more candidates have thrown their hats into the ring in the race for one of the two Vermont House seats that represent Bristol, Monkton, Lincoln and Starksboro.
Lincoln resident Mari Cordes is running as a Democrat for a seat in the Addison-4 House district. She is the third Democrat to announce, and thus there will be a primary in August to see which two Dems will run in the General Election.
Monkton Republican Valerie Mullin also recently announced her intention to run for the seat, which she also sought (unsuccessfully) in 2014. She joins incumbent Rep. Fred Baser of Bristol on the Republican slate.
