City Limits benefit to honor Conrad Bell
VERGENNES — City Limits Night Club in Vergennes is hosting a concert, titled “A Loud and Proud Benefit for Conrad F. Bell,” on Friday, April 8. The music kicks off at 9 p.m.
Conrad Bell was murdered on July 28, 2012, in Ferrisburgh. The benefit’s purpose is to raise money for his two daughters’ futures.
The concert features three bands. The Johnny Devil Band, hailing from Addison County, makes its first appearance with their original lineup in 15 years. Also from Addison County is Twist of Fate, which brings its original music to the City Limits once again. The night winds up with Franklin County’s Victim of Metal, a Black Sabbath/Judas Priest cover band.
There is no cover charge; however, donations for the Conrad F. Bell Memorial Trust Fund will be solicited from patrons at the door and throughout the night. There will also be a 50/50 raffle. The drawing will be held at midnight, and ticketholders must be present to win.
All money raised goes to the Conrad F. Bell Memorial Trust Fund’s two investment funds, which have been created for Bell’s daughters. These funds will be accessible by the girls when they reach an appropriate age.
