Town Meetings 2016 – See what happened in your municipality in our town-by-town wrap up
Addison County residents came out in fairly good numbers to take part in their annual town and school meetings this week.
Part civic duty, part neighborhood gathering, town meetings and the Australian ballot voting on Tuesday was a time and place where municipal officials could take the pulse of their constituents, and townsperson could talk with townsperson — face to face — about the important issues their communities face.
The Addison Independent gathered news and results from all 23 towns in the county — plus Brandon! — and presents it here for you to read. Find your town, click on the headline, and read about what happened.
The Addison Independent staff worked late into the night on Tuesday (like many town officials) gathering results from Town Meeting Day voting. Senior Reporter John Flowers and Reporter Gaen Murphree are shown tallying up Presidential Primary vote totals.
